Basketball — Star Packs and Rewards update
A few weeks ago we introduced new packs types and some reward tweaks to Football, and now Basketball will follow a few of the same positive changes!
- Underdogs, Regular and Stars MGC packs
- Reduced pack CS requirements
- More guaranteed positions rewarded and other reward adjustments

Guaranteed Quality Packs
There will be 3 different variations of packs: Underdogs, Regular, and Stars — each containing athletes that match a range of “Performance Index”, which currently in Basketball is simply equal to the athletes Last 5 score.
Underdogs: 0–100 Last 5, 0.5x Price, 0.5x CS Requirement
Regular: 100–170 Last 5, 1x Price, 1x CS Requirement
Stars: 160+ Last 5, 3x Price, 1.5x CS Requirement
The performance index is updated at the start of each day, so an athlete who has just played a match will not move between packs until the next morning (and therefore may have a displayed last 5 above or below these thresholds ).
Available Packs
Kickoff/Basic/Jumbo packs will give “Regular” athletes, while Silver/Gold/Holo packs will be split into EuroCup and EuroLeague options with different performance options.
Pack Details
The collection score requirements are reduced overall, and only change between Underdog/Regular/Star options.
Prices match those already seen in football, with an increase for EuroLeague packs as the pinnacle league.
Reward Changes
Similarly to football, the number of positions rewarded is increased replacing “top percent” positions that were never awarded due to the number of entrants. Additionally, with these added positions, the spread of rewards between these positions will be more gradual.
Overall there are not too many changes as Basketball is already in a great place after a fantastic start to the season.
Hopefully these small changes can improve the Manager experience even further, and now that all of the 23/24 Basketball cards are out we can kick this season into overdrive!!
