Introducing: Referral Program
Hey Champs, we’re thrilled to announce that the launch of our Referral Program is getting closer!
We didn’t want to go too crazy with this one and kept things straight forward. Here is a sneak peek of what to expect.
How does it work?
As a player you can invite new players with your very own, dedicated invitation link:
The person you invite will then have to complete the registration process through the page that you linked.
As soon as the person you invite to the game:
- Completes the KYC process
and
- Spends 20$ on new cards (through Packs for now, but later on Auctions will count too)
you, the inviter, will get 1 referral point:
And the player you invited will automatically receive an Epic card upon completing the requirements!
Reward structure
To access the different Referral rewards, simply accumulate Referral points:
We plan to have the following referral rewards to start with:
- 3 points: 100 CHAMP
- 5 points: 1 Epic Card
- 7 points: 200 CHAMP
- 10 points: 2 Epic Cards
- 15 points: 400 CHAMP
- 20 points: 1 Mythic Card
Once you acquired all those rewards, you are done… for now!
In the future we will consider adding a recurring referral reward you could keep getting past the initial ones (for example 1 Epic card or some CHAMP tokens every additional X points):
This recurrent reward will not be deployed for now, we will first monitor how the system behaves.
Additional points past the initial reward track will still be counted and rewards retro-actively distributed if we release this recurrent step.
Requirements explained
In case you were wondering why your invitees need to complete both the KYC and spend money in the game, and why simply picking something from the marketplace doesn’t count, the answer to that is simple: our primary goal is to reward our most loyal managers, while discouraging multi-accounting.
KYC process has been a good first step in this battle but unfortunately it does not prevent managers to sell the same card over and over again between their friends and family members who have KYC-ed. Therefore it will be necessary to spend money buying brand new cards.
Ah yes! We know it’s currently complicated to spend 20$ on packs. They’re not always available in the store and they’re not always the one you’d like. However, we do have a trick up our sleeve to solve that problem.
Starter Pack
Together with the Referral Program we will introduce our first Starter Pack which will be essential to give our new managers a head start while also nicely solving the “which pack to buy first” dilemma.
Here’s a sneak peek of what we’re currently thinking of:

- 12 Cards
- 1 Epic card guaranteed
- 11 Cards (1 Goalkeeper, 4 Defenders, 4 Midfielders, 2 Forward) with the following odds: 95% Common / 5% Epic
Can only be purchased once in a player’s lifetime
Starter Packs will be available in the Pack store of all new players right away and will give the perfect opportunity to fill the Referral program spending condition.
On top of that, we believe having Starter Packs will lower the pressure on weekly drop supplies as it will create a more regular and constant source of spending in the game.
I am an existing player, will I get a Starter Pack?
We do not want to release a crazy supply at once in the game by granting every existing players a Starter Pack allocation but we do want to grant faithful players a chance to get one.
To that end we will do a one time sale of Starter Packs (with a limited supply) before activating them for new players.
We plan to release both features towards the end of October.
