Summer Leagues: Buy-Back Process

We’ve soaked in your insights and feedback since our initial announcement about the buyback program, leading to some pivotal tweaks and updates we’re excited to share, alongside the finalized procedure.

Final Price Adjustments

Your voice has truly shaped the final pricing landscape:

• We revisited athletes’ valuations based on your pointed feedback, leading to some price adjustments — both increases and decreases.
• We have slightly increased the values of many athletes at the lowest price ($3) to inject more distinction in pricing, minimizing the number at the $3 mark.
• Recent player transfers have been incorporated into our pricing strategy.

The compensation blend will be 70% in UNA tokens and 30% in MGC tokens. You can view the definitive price list through our provided link.

Buyback Procedure

Ready to transform your Summer League cards? Here’s how you can participate in the Buyback Scheme for cards from the Virsliga, Veikkausliiga, and Besta Deildin leagues:

Pathways to Boost or Burn:

Path A:

• Select for Enhancement: Choose an athlete card you wish to enhance.
• Choose to Burn: Select any card(s) from the specified Summer leagues (Virsliga, Veikkausliiga, and Besta Deildin) to burn.
• Burn and Boost: Execute the burn and boost on your selected cards to enhance the athlete card.

Path B:

• Select to Burn: Pick a Summer League athlete card from the specified leagues to burn.
• Choose for Enhancement: Select another card you wish to enhance.
• Burn and Boost: Carry out the burn and boost process on your selections, enhancing the chosen card.

We’ve streamlined the selection process with a league-specific filter within the burning tool. Now, you can also temporarily enhance players for an unlimited number of matches, ensuring those with a larger Summer collection can effectively manage their inventory.

Kickoff Packs

In appreciation, users who bought Kickoff packs from any of the three Summer Leagues will be rewarded with a matching number of Kickoff packs from the remaining UC leagues through an airdrop soon.

Timeline:

Post-burning, sit tight. You can start burning right now and each Tuesday and Friday, starting on 23.02.24, we’ll tally up the burned cards and allocate the corresponding UNA and MGC tokens to you.

You can engage in the burn process up until the commencement of the 2024 season for each league:

• Virsliga 08.03.24
• Veikkausliiga 06.04.2024
• Besta Deildin 06.04.2024

Should any of your cards from these leagues that are not included in the buyback become covered again in one of these leagues, up until their season starts (let us know if we miss any!), these will be added to the list and any burns from that time will count.
