Unagi is thrilled to reveal our new time-limited game: Ultimate Champions - European Summer Edition, which will be released on June 12th — in two days!
It will be a fantasy football experience covering the entire Euro competition! 🔥
Overview
To celebrate the Euro ⚽ and UNA⚡ launch, we have dedicated a massive $200K worth of UNA tokens as a prize pool for the entire competition!
You will be able to create your dream Euro teams every GameDay and compete against other managers to win top prizes.

Card rarities
Cards of the Euro teams in the following rarities will be available to collect and play with:
- ⬜ Common Cards — every manager will have all common cards in their collection from the start of the game!
- 🟪 Epic Cards
- 🟨 Mythic Cards
Rarer cards will give you access to Tournaments and higher prizes. Check out the Tournaments section to learn more!
If you just want to have fun, don’t worry — you can still compete in Leagues with Common Cards only completely for free.
Epic & Mythics cards can be traded (sold / bought) at any time in ourin-game marketplace 🪙.
The Ultimate Champions European Summer Edition is a time-limited experience; cards will not have any utility once the competition end!
Packs
Feeling lucky?🍀 Packs are the go-to place to get brand new cards.
There will be Group Phase Packs and Knockout Phase Packs available in unlimited quantity throughout the competition.
- Group Phase Packs
Each Group of the Euro will have the following Packs available:
- Epic Pack 🟪: 3x Epic Cards — $7.5
- Mythic Pack 🟨: 3x Mythic Cards — $22.5
Meaning 12 different Group Packs will be available to purchase during the Group Phase.
2. Knockout Phase Packs
Knockout Phase Packs will contain cards from teams playing in the next Knockout Phase GameDay, and will have the following versions available:
- Epic Pack 🟪: 3x Epic — $9
- Mythic Pack 🟨: 3x Mythic — $27
Game mode: Leagues
Leagues is the free-to-play game mode of Ultimate Champions! You don’t need to spend anything to compete here. ⚡
You get to choose your exact lineup every GameDay in the Leagues.
But there is a twist — you will have to fill a team within a specific Point Cap!
You will have a total amount of points to spend on building your team.
High-performing players will cost more points, while players with lower scores will cost fewer points to register.
You will have to find underrated gems to take the crown — a true test of managerial skill! 🤩
GameDay rewards
Every GameDay, you will be able to win the following rewards:
League Season Rewards
In the Leagues, you will find a ‘Season Leaderboard’ where your scores from the entire Euro competition will be tallied.
Top managers will get the following rewards:
The Ultimate Champion of the Euro season leaderboard will win a whopping $10,000 worth of UNA tokens ! 🤯
It’s an endurance test, make sure to score every GameDay to reach the top.
Game mode: Tournaments
Tournaments offer the best rewards (by far!), and require Epic or Mythic cards to enter a team. You can purchase these cards at any time through Packs or the Marketplace.
One Tournament competition will be available during the entire Euro with the following Divisions:
- Beginner Division
- Pro Division
- World Class Division
Beginner requirements: 3 Epic cards 🟪
Rewards 💰:
Pro requirements: 8 Epic cards 🟪
Rewards 💰:
World Class requirements: 8 Mythic cards 🟨
Rewards 💰:
Target the division that fits your budget best and aim for the top of the leaderboard! You can win the rewards above each GameDay of the competition (20 times in total).
No point cap in tournaments, you’re free to build the total dream team! 💪
You can always substitute a card of lower rarity with a card of higher rarity to match the division requirements. For example, in the Beginner category, you can register with 3 mythic cards instead of 3 epic cards!
Ultimate Champions Kickstarter
Ultimate Champions managers will receive free packs to kickstart their Euro experience! 🤩
The number of packs received will vary based on their Collection Score in Ultimate Champions (combined between Football and Basketball).
Stay tuned, as the exact numbers will be announced closer to the distribution date!
⚠️We recommend using the same login method (Google account, email, etc.) as your UC account to ensure you receive your packs correctly. ⚠️️️
Persona Kickstarter
Persona holders will also receive free kickstarter packs!
The exact numbers will be announced shortly after the game’s release and during the distribution process.
A snapshot for holders will be taken before the distribution, meaning that purchasing a Persona after the competition starts will not grant you the kickstarter packs.
⚠️ You will need a Persona account in order to be eligible, if you’re a holder and don’t have one now’s the time. ⚠️
We will send details in the Persona discord to clarify the process.
GameDay Schedule
The Euro competition will be broken down in 20 different GameDays.
Managers can register teams in Leagues and Tournaments for each different GameDay.
Gamedays schedule:
20 GameDays in total! 12 covering the Group Phase matches, 8 for the final stages of the competition.
